  1. Introduction

Welcome to TotLeads.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use our services, including our Chrome extension and data enrichment tools.

TotLeads is operated by TOTSTUDIO, a French company registered under number 992 791 657, with its registered office at 61 Rue de Lyon, 75012 Paris, France.
TOTSTUDIO complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all applicable French data-protection laws.

By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

  1. What We Do

TotLeads provides tools that help users export publicly available business data into structured formats such as CSV files.

Unlike other scrapers, TotLeads never accesses or uses session cookies. We only process publicly accessible data visible to anyone on the web.

The data exported through our Chrome extension is temporarily stored on our servers for a maximum of three (3) months to ensure smooth functionality and prevent data loss. After this period, it is automatically and permanently deleted in accordance with GDPR requirements.

We also offer an optional, paid enrichment feature that allows users to obtain verified professional emails and phone numbers. All third-party providers involved in the enrichment process are fully GDPR-compliant.

  1. Data We Collect

    3.1 Data You Provide

Account information such as your name, email address, company name, and billing details for paid features.

Data exported via our tools (for example, names, company roles, public URLs, and other publicly available business details).

Enrichment results (if you use the paid feature), such as verified business email addresses and phone numbers.

Any communication you send to us through support or contact forms.

3.2 Automatically Collected Data

Technical information such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and timestamps.

Usage logs that help us monitor performance, detect errors, and ensure service reliability.

Basic analytics data to improve our product experience.

3.3 Chrome Extension Data Processing

When you use the TotLeads Chrome extension, the extension only processes data that is already visible to you on the visited webpage.

The extension does not access credentials, private messages, session cookies, or non-visible information.

We do not collect, store, or transmit your browsing history.

The extension only interacts with pages you explicitly open on LinkedIn.

  1. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data only where legally permitted under the GDPR, specifically:

To perform the contract that enables us to provide our services to you.

To pursue legitimate interests, such as improving our product, preventing fraud, or ensuring security, provided these interests do not override your rights.

To comply with legal obligations, including accounting and tax regulations.

Based on your consent for specific actions such as marketing communication (if applicable).

  1. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain our services.

To process your account and payment information for paid features.

To enrich and return professional contact information when requested.

To analyse and improve service performance.

To provide customer support and respond to inquiries.

To comply with our legal obligations.

For users exporting leads via the Chrome extension, the exported data is sent to TotLeads servers solely for the purpose of generating downloadable CSV files for the user.

This data is never shared with third parties for marketing or resale.

We never sell or rent user data to third parties.

  1. Data Retention and Deletion

Exported data is stored securely for up to three (3) months, then automatically and permanently deleted.

Account and billing data are retained for as long as necessary to provide our services and meet legal and tax obligations.

You may request early deletion of your data at any time by contacting our support team.

  1. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We only share data when necessary and always under strict confidentiality conditions:

Service providers: We work with trusted partners for hosting, analytics, payment processing, and enrichment. They act as data processors and are bound by data-protection agreements.

Enrichment providers: Only when you use the enrichment feature, limited data is sent to GDPR-compliant providers to retrieve verified professional contact details.

Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights or the rights of others.

Business transfers: In case of a merger, acquisition, or reorganisation, data may be transferred under equivalent privacy safeguards.

  1. International Data Transfers

Some of our trusted service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, we implement appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data remains protected according to GDPR standards.

  1. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorised access.

These include data encryption, secure hosting environments, limited internal access, and routine security audits.

However, no online service is entirely risk-free, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

  1. Your Rights

You have the following rights under the GDPR:

Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal obligations).

Restriction: Request limitation of processing under certain circumstances.

Our services are intended for professional use and are not directed at individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If such data is inadvertently collected, it will be deleted promptly upon discovery.

  1. Policy Updates
